Last Will and Testament

of Ann Randall - 1733

Anne Randall of the town of Bedford, Bedfordshire, widow

To my daughter Mary Loyd wife of Hugh Loyd of Bletsoe in said County of Bedford victualer my silver cup and all my wearing apparel of what nature or kind soever

and the same as or shall be called all the rest of my goods chattels personal estate and effects whatsoever and wherever which I have not hereby otherwise disposed unto my sons John Randall and Thomas Randall to be equally divided between them share and share alike at their several respective age and ages of one and twenty years

And if it shall happen that my said sons John Randall and Thomas Randall or either of them shall die before they shall have severally and respectively attained their said age or ages of one and twenty years and then in such case the part or share of him so dying shall go to the survivors of them my son and daughter and if it shall happen that both my said sons shall die before age 21 then all the rest of my goods chattels personal estate and effects not hereby otherwise disposed to my said daughter Mary Loyd

provided nevertheless that if either of y said sons shall die before he or they shall have attained 21 years I order direct my said executors to pay and defray the funeral charges of him or them so dying out of my personal estate

Anything in here contained the contrary thereof in any wife not withstanding and I do hereby appoint my brother Edward Beamont and my friend Edward Ruled both of Biggleswade County Bedford aforesaid yeoman my sole executors and trustees and guardians for my said sons until 21 yrs of age

To the said Edward Beamont and Edward Ruled one guinea apiece for their care and trouble
