Copy examination of Charlotte Traveller widow of
Chelmsford, with copy complaint of overseer of Chelmsford : her
late husband James (died c.1833) had been footman to 'Captain
Spitty' at Billericay 1818-1819, and later a waiter at the
Black Boy, Chelmsford, and Blue Posts, Witham, as well as a
painter; he had said that he was born at Dover, Kent.
