Mountnessing, all of which was purchased by Wellington Goodchild
of Great Burstead, farmer,from caroline Woodard of Billericay,
wid. of Edw.Woodard of Billericay, gentleman (d. 1882) in 1884.
Incl. (i) sale catalogue, 1833, of 2 timberbuilt cottages, a barn,
and several pieces of land (total 29a.) all 'in the immediate
Vicinty of the town of Billericay,' in parishes of Gt. Burstead,
Buttsbury and Mountnessing, in 8 lots, and containing interesting
deposition relating to the property by John Turner,farmer,aged 83
years, and Richard Wingfield, carpenter, both of Billericay, which
property forms part of the estate of Richard Comyns Cole of Bath
(co. Gloucs), esq., sworn at Billericay before Thomas Spitty (2
copies); (ii) probate (p.c.c.) 4 July 1851,with copy of will (made
8 July 1847) annexed of Peter Perring formerly of Euston Square
(co. Middx), later of South Crescent, Bedford Square, St.Giles in
the Fields (co.Middx),clerk [in holy orders] (d. 11 June 1851), (iii)sale
catalogue with plans, 1853, of estate (total 1,860a.) of Charles
