In 1857 he appears in the following document:-
Abstract of title of Jas Adkins jnr., husbandman to Postern Cross Close in Cranfield - sd. close in occupation of Jn. Keens, cork cutter. Date 1 Apr 1757.

His Last Will and Testament was proven on the 18 Jun 1768 in the Archdeaconry of Bedford. He was a Cork Cutter.

3. Elizabeth was buried on 27 Mar 1742 in Cranfield, Beds. Children were:

i. Cornelius KINNS was christened on 2 Feb 1726 in Cranfield, Beds.
ii. Rachel KINNS was christened on 2 Feb 1726 in Cranfield, Beds. She was buried on 12 May 1745 in Cranfield, Beds.
iii. Thomas KINNS was christened on 7 Apr 1728 in Cranfield, Beds.
iv. William KINNS was christened on 25 Oct 1730 in Cranfield, Beds.
v. Ann KINNS was christened on 13 May 1733 in Cranfield, Beds.
vi. Robert KINNS was christened on 24 Aug 1735 in Cranfield, Beds.
vii. Mary KINNS was christened on 3 Jul 1737 in Cranfield, Beds.
1 viii. Sarah KEENES was christened on 18 Jun 1738 in Cranfield, Beds.
