TENTH GENERATION

Francis DARNELL. The origins of Francis have yet to be established. He was buried in Adstock, Bucks, England, Bucks on the 1 Mar 1730.1

wife Elizabeth. The marriage and Elizabeth's origins have yet to be established. She was buried in Adstock on the 23 Sep 1729.1

Children were:

child i. John DARNELL was christened on 26 Nov 1676 in Adstock. 1
child ii  Mary DARNELL was christened on 21 Jul 1678 in Adstock. 1
child iii  Elizabeth DARNELL was christened on 21 Jun 1680 in Adstock. 1
child iv. Thomas DARNELL was christened on 25 Sep 1681 in Adstock.1 His burial entry in the Adstock Parish Register noted :- "a youth of 13 yrs old, sporting with thunder and lightning was killed by it, and buried Aug 10th (Winslow Fare Day) 1794."
child v. Sarah DARNELL was christened on 4 Feb 1682 in Adstock.1
child vi. Joane DARNELL was christened on 28 Sep 1684 in Adstock.1
child vii. Jane DARNELL was christened on 23 Jan 1686 in Adstock.1
child viii. Richard DARNELL was christened on 6 Jan 1688 in Adstock.1
child ix. Frances DARNELL.

The first three children listed for Francis & Elizabeth did not show the parents names in the Adstock baptismal register. However the Adstock register only records the one Darnell family in the Parish at this time, and the dates of the three neatly fit in with the other children.
