"Mother's father was head gamekeeper to the Duke of Grafton (Euston Hall)"

From notes of his grand-son Frank Liddamore :-
"James worked as a gamekeeper for Prince Dulip Singh, the father of Raja Singh the cricketer ......... Prince Dulip Singh sold Elveden to Lord Iveah, the head of the Guinness family. (His son) George at one time worked at Elveden with his father".

He was married to Maria GODDARD on 24 Jan 1852 in Euston, Suffolk².

31. Maria GODDARD (photo) was born on 9 Nov 1831 in Great Livermere, Suffolk¹. She was christened on 18 Dec 1831 in Great Livermere¹. She died on 20 Jan 1903 in Sapiston, Suffolk⁴. She was buried in Sapiston, Suffolk⁵.

vi. Mary Ellen LIDDAMORE was born on 10 Feb 1864 in Euston, Suffolk.
vii. Anne LIDDAMORE was born on 6 May 1866 in Euston, Suffolk.
