Francis SWABEY was
christened on the 26
Jul 1700 in Halton, Buckinghamshire. He was buried on the 24 Mar 1771 in Halton. He was married to
Mary FASSON on the 27 Dec 1738
in Bedfordshire. They were married by Licence :-
"Married by Licence
issued by the Archdeaconry of Buckingham. Details from the Licence
Allegation & Bond are :- Francis Sweby of the parish of Halton in the
County of Bucks aged about 40 and single intendeth to marry Mary Fasson
of the Parish of Leighton Buzzard Bedford spinster aged 30 or upwards."
The Leighton Buzzard marriage register also noted that Francis Sweby was
of Halton, Bucks, and Mary was of Leighton Buzzard. From her age on
the Marriage Licence she was most likely the Mary Fasson christened on
the 3 Feb 1711 in Totternhoe.
